· Application
- Pipe lifting hooks for transporting or installing pipes in shipyards, chemical plant factories, and piers.
· Features
- The NCP-M and the NCP-N are used by clamping the inside diameter of pipes.
- The NCP-M has the magnet in the upper part of the jaw opening to prevent slipping when clamping a pipe with the
hook.
- For the NCP-N, the contact area of the upper and the lower parts of the jaw opening is curved the same
as the inside diameter of the pipe so that the inside diameter of the pipe is not damaged (no teeth mark) by lifting.
- The NCP-M and the NCP-H have no built-in safety lock, but they are designed to prevent a work piece from slipping
as an external force pulls inwards in proportion to the lifting angle of a sling rope and to the weight of a work piece.
· How to use
- Insert the hook into the inside diameter of the hook to the end and lift slowly.
· Warnings
- Do not exceed the rated capacity specified on the hook.
- Always use a work piece only which falls within the working range specified in the manual.
- Do not exceed the working angle of a sling rope.
- Before lifting, always make the work piece horizontal.
- When transporting work pieces, do not abruptly start or stop a crane.
