· Application
- A flange lifting hook for transporting pipes with attached(welded) flanges in shipyards and chemical plants.
· Features
- The bottom part (“B” in the drawing) of the NFH-A gets circular and thinner from the body towards the end, making
it convenient to lift.
- The NFH-A has no built-in safety lock, but an external force, but it is designed to prevent the work piece from slipping
as an external force pulls inwards in proportion to the lifting angle of a sling rope and to the weight of a work piece.
· How to use
- Insert the bottom part of the hook into the flange hole to inside end and lift slowly.
· Warnings
- Do not exceed the rated capacity specified on the hook.
- Always use a work piece only which falls within the working range(flange hole) specified in the manual.
- Do not exceed the working angle of a sling rope.
- Always check the deformation of the hook before lifting.
- Before lifting, always make the work piece horizontal.
- When transporting work pieces, do not abruptly start or stop a crane.
